Job summary

Hayward Gardens Post Acute is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our care team on a part-time, AM shift (7:00 AM–3:30 PM) Wednesday, Thursday & Friday. Pay rate is $23.00–$24.00 per hour, with daily hands-on resident care and support under licensed staff.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, transfers, vital signs, and accurate documentation, while maintaining a clean, safe environment and adhering to infection control policies.

Qualifications

• Active California CNA certification required.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to providing resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Take and record vital signs; report changes to licensed nursing staff.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, positioning, and ambulation.
• Assist with meals and encourage hydration and nutrition; document care.
