Job summary

Hayward Gardens Post Acute is seeking compassionate CNAs for full-time NOC shifts. We offer a 5-star Medicare-rated facility with comprehensive benefits and a supportive leadership team. You will deliver person-centered care, assist with daily living activities, and ensure resident comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Required: Valid California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
• Previous CNA experience in a skilled nursing or healthcare setting preferred.
• New CNAs are welcome to apply; training and support available to help you develop your skills.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centered daily nursing care according to each resident's care plan and individual needs.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Take and record vital signs and report changes in residents' conditions to licensed nursing staff.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and maintaining resident safety.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Promote residents' dignity, independence, privacy, and comfort.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and members of the healthcare team.
• Follow all facility policies, procedures, and infection-control standards.
• Work collaboratively with licensed nursing staff to provide high-quality care to both long-term residents and short-term rehabilitation patients.
