Job summary

East Bay Post Acute is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dedicated nursing team in the East Bay area. This full-time position offers stable employment and competitive pay, with opportunities to grow in a team-focused, resident-centered environment.

You will perform ADLs, monitor residents, document findings, and collaborate with licensed staff to maintain safety and quality of life for residents. CPR/BLS preferred; new graduates welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Current California CNA certification is required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care is a plus; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care for residents with ADLs.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Take and document vital signs accurately.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation with safety techniques.
• Observe and report changes to the nursing team; maintain documentation.
• Promote a clean, safe, and comfortable environment; build rapport with residents and families.
