Job summary

Harmony Gardens in Maplewood, MN is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team on an on-call basis. You will help residents maintain independence by assisting with personal care, daily living activities, and treatments, while documenting care and reporting changes to the RN.

Must hold an active MN Nursing Assistant certification and be listed on the MN Registry. Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain a consistent schedule are essential.

Responsibilities

• Help residents reach and maintain the highest level of independence by assisting with personal care and daily living activities.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the RN per individualized care plan.
• Take and record vital signs and report changes to the nurse.
• Document services performed on the charting system.
• Observe resident and report changes in physical or emotional condition to the supervisor.
• Assist with personal care such as grooming and bathing, and with medication administration as needed.

As aCertified Nursing Assistant (CNA)at Harmony Gardens,you’ll help residents maintain independence by assisting with personal care, daily activities, and treatments. You’ll document care, support activity programs, and report changes in condition to the RN. Join our team if you’re a caring, dependable CNA who thrives in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Position Type: On-Call

Wage Range: $22.60 to $27.00 / hour depending on experience.

Shift Differential:

• Evenings $0.50
• Nights $1.00

Location: 1438 County Road C East, Maplewood, MN 55109.

CNA Responsibilities:

• Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per individualized care plan.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed. Report changes or concerns to the nurse.
• Document services performed on computerized charting system.
• Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, reaction, and appetite, to the supervisor.
• Assist the resident with personal care which may include the following: shampooing of hair, assist with showering/ bathing, fingernail and foot care, and medication administration.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

CNA Qualifications:

• Must have an active Nursing Assistant certification and be on the MN Registry.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work a consistent work schedule.
