Job summary

Harmony Gardens in Maplewood, MN is hiring CNAs to join our compassionate senior care community. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you’ll help residents with personal care, daily living activities, and treatments, while documenting care and reporting changes to the RN.

This on-call position offers a wage range of $22.60 to $27.00 per hour, with evenings and nights differential. We value dedication, reliability, and excellent communication as you support residents toward independence.

Position Type:

On-Call

Wage Range:

$22.60 to $27.00 / hour depending on experience.

Shift Differential:

• Evenings $0.50
• Nights $1.00

Location:

1438 County Road C East, Maplewood, MN 55109.

CNA Responsibilities:

• Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per individualized care plan.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed. Report changes or concerns to the nurse.
• Document services performed on computerized charting system.
• Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, reaction, and appetite, to the supervisor.
• Assist the resident with personal care which may include the following: shampooing of hair, assist with showering/ bathing, fingernail and foot care, and medication administration.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

CNA Qualifications:

• Must have an active Nursing Assistant certification and be on the MN Registry.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work a consistent work schedule.
