Job summary

Lauderdale Community Living Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our growing team on a full-time night shift (6pm–6am). The CNA will perform direct care rounds, assist with activities of daily living, monitor residents, and coordinate admissions, transfers and discharges in the Transitional Care Unit.

Requirements include a CNA certification in good standing. The role emphasizes infection prevention, patient relationships, and accurate documentation to ensure resident

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant certification in good standing is required.
• Ability to perform direct care rounds and assist with activities of daily living.
• Maintain infection control practices and safety.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular direct care rounds on assigned unit and assist with ADLs.
• Monitor resident condition and report changes to the Charge Nurse.
• Obtain vital signs, weights and heights as instructed.
• Complete duties and documentation as required.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers and discharges in Transitional Care Unit.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and infection prevention practices.

Full time | Hours- 6pm to 6am

Certified Nursing Assistant ( CNA ) duties include but are not limited to:

• Conduct regular direct care rounds on assigned unit to monitor activity and ensure residents needs are met including assisting with activities of daily living
• Maintain positive relationships with the residents/ Patients
• Notify Charge Nurse of any resident/ patient change in condition
• Obtain vital signs, weights, and heights as instructed by charge nurse
• Complete all assigned duties and documentation as required
• Coordinate and prepare for new admissions, transfers, discharge of residents in the Transitional Care Unit
• Maintain safe and clean work area
• Ensure infection prevention and control practices
• Other duties as assigned
