Job summary

Good Samaritan Society is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for Souris Valley Care Center in Velva, ND. This full-time night-shift position offers 12-hour shifts starting at $20.00 per hour, with differential pay up to $3.00 per hour.

Part-time and full-time roles may include an additional $12.50 per hour for extra shifts, plus a robust benefits package. Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily living, hygiene, meals, and mobility; monitoring vital signs; and documenting care.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing assistant training program approved by the location and the state.
• Ability to communicate and comprehend; ability to perform assigned tasks and attend in-services and training.
• Must be able to use the electronic medical record for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene and daily living needs, provide comfort, transportation and monitor vital signs.
• Provide resident-centered personal care including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing and mobility assistance; assist with meals and hydration.
• Document resident cares and behaviors per policy; follow infection prevention and PPE protocols.
• Assist with transfers, range of motion exercises and positioning using proper techniques and equipment.
• Maintain clean linens and proper handling of supplies.

We have Full-time Night Position Open. 12 Hour shifts starting at $20.00/hr as well as differentials up to $3/hr. PT & FT employees are eligible to earn an additional $12.50/hr for shifts that are picked up! Job Responsibilities

This position helps residents by supporting personal hygiene and daily living needs; providing comfort, transportation and vital sign monitoring.

Provides resident centered personal care including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, obtaining vital signs, psychosocial support and other personal cares. Assists residents with meals and snacks, provides water and supplements as appropriate. Provides a positive dining experience. Assists residents in transferring, repositioning and walking using correct and appropriate transfer techniques and equipment; provides range of motion and passive exercise. Documents resident cares and behaviors according to Society policy, procedure and regulations Handles and disposes of linens, soiled clothing or supplies properly; follows consistent hand washing and Personal Protective Equipment use.

Qualifications
