Job summary

The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a Part-Time Evening CNA at Souris Valley Care Center in Velva, ND. Starting wage is $20.00/hour, with 12 and 8 hour shifts and differentials up to $3/hr.

PT & FT staff may earn an extra $12.50/hr for picked-up shifts, with comprehensive benefits for full-time and part-time employees. Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, dressing, mobility, meals, vital signs and documentation in the EMR, while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing assistant training program approved by the location and the state.
• Ability to communicate and comprehend; ability to perform assigned tasks and meet requirements for in-services, training and meeting attendance; must be able to use the electronic medical record for documentation.
• Ability to measure and comprehend quantities.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene and daily living needs.
• Provide comfort, transportation and vital sign monitoring.
• Give resident-centered personal care: bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing.
• Assist with meals, hydration and range of motion exercises; document care.
• Follow policies for linens, PPE and infection control.
