Job summary

Good Samaritan in Velva, ND, is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) for all shifts. Starting at $20.00/hour with full-time, part-time, and PRN openings available, the role offers additional pay for extra shifts and eligibility for health benefits, PTO, and holiday pay.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered personal care including bathing and grooming.
• Assist residents with meals and snacks, and provide hydration.
• Assist residents in transferring and repositioning using proper techniques.
• Document resident cares and behaviors according to policies.
• Handle and dispose of linens and supplies properly.
• Support residents in personal hygiene and daily living needs.

Job Summary

Starting at $20.00/hour. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) positions are available for ALL SHIFTS! We have full‑time, part‑time, and PRN openings. 12‑hour and 8‑hour shifts starting at $20.00/hr as well as differentials up to $3/hr. Part‑time and full‑time employees are eligible to earn an additional $12.50/hr for shifts that are picked up! Full‑time positions come with insurance benefits including health, vision, dental, life, and other supplemental options, as well as PTO and holiday pay. Part‑time positions earn PTO and holiday pay. Job Responsibilities

• Provide resident‑centered personal care including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing and undressing, obtaining vital signs, psychosocial support, and other personal cares.
• Assist residents with meals and snacks, provide water and supplements as appropriate, and offer a positive dining experience.
• Assist residents in transferring, repositioning, and walking using correct and appropriate transfer techniques and equipment; provide range‑of‑motion and passive exercise.
• Document resident cares and behaviors according to society policy, procedure, and regulations.
• Handle and dispose of linens, soiled clothing, or supplies properly; follow consistent hand washing and personal protective equipment use.
• Support residents in personal hygiene and daily living needs, provide comfort, transportation, and vital sign monitoring.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing assistant training program approved by the location and the state.
• Ability to communicate and comprehend; ability to perform assigned tasks and meet requirements for in‑services, training, and meeting attendance; must be able to use the electronic medical record for documentation.
• Ability to measure and comprehend quantities.
