Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a Clinical Nursing Assistant to join Souris Valley Care Center in Velva, ND. This full-time role involves 10-hour day shifts and starting pay of $20.00 per hour, with differentials up to $3/hr. Part- and full-time staff may earn an additional $12.50/hr for picked-up shifts.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing assistant training program approved by the location and the state.
• Ability to communicate and comprehend; perform assigned tasks and meet in-services/training requirements; must be able to use the electronic medical record for documentation.
• Ability to measure and comprehend quantities.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene and daily living needs; provide comfort, transportation and vital sign monitoring.
• Provide resident-centered personal care including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, obtaining vital signs, psychosocial support and other personal cares.
• Assist residents with meals and snacks; provide water and supplements as appropriate; promote a positive dining experience.
• Assist with transferring, repositioning and walking using proper transfer techniques and equipment; provide ROM and passive exercise.
• Document resident cares and behaviors according to policy and regulations.
• Handle linens, soiled clothing or supplies properly; follow hand hygiene and PPE use.

Job Responsibilities
