Iredell Memorial Hospital Incorporated in Statesville, NC is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Medical Surgical Unit on a full-time day shift.

The CNA provides patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, must have a high school diploma, current BLS certification, and be in good standing with the NC DHSR, and can lift up to 30 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Listed with NC DHSR in good standing.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Medical Surgical Unit

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Med Surg team. This full-time day shift position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to patient care in a supportive and professional environment. The Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for assisting with unit/patient care needs under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. Has full access to patient health information. May have access to medication storage areas (excluding controlled substances) as related to job responsibilities.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent required unless a current high school student participating in the CATS program for the NC
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required through American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• Listed with North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services Division of Health Service Regulation in good standings.

Physical Requirements

• Must possess full range of body motion to pass a basic FIT test to include bending, stooping, standing and sitting for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
