Iredell Health System is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support nursing staff with patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. The role includes access to patient information and assisting with daily care tasks and mobility as needed.

The position is scheduled 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, full-time, 36 hours per week, with eligibility for sign-on bonuses and benefits as described. Must meet state and program requirements and maintain professional standards.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Listed with NC DHHS Division of Health Service Regulation in good standing.

Mansioni

• Assist with unit/patient care needs under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Maintain access to patient health information as required.
• Support care tasks during the 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM shift (full-time 36 hours/week).

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for assisting with unit/patient care needs under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. Has full access to patient health information. May have access to medication storage areas (excluding controlled substances) as related to job responsibilities.

Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM | Full-Time 36 hours per week

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent required unless a current high school student participating in the CATS program for the NC
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required through American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• Listed with North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services Division of Health Service Regulation in good standing.
• Must possess full range of body motion to pass a basic FIT test to include bending, stooping, standing and sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
