Job summary

Koelsch Communities seeks a skilled CNA to join our resident-centered team in memory care. This part-time role offers multiple shifts and a wage between $22 and $25 per hour, depending on experience; new grads are welcome to apply.

Benefits include health/dental/vision/life/accident insurances, employer HSA contributions, and paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays. Part-time staff receive select benefits with full-time eligibility for broader coverage.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid WA Certified Nursing Assistant license.
• NARs, EAs, RAs, and/or HCAs require additional training and testing prior to working and earning the same rate as a CNA.
• Must have ability to gain CPR/ First-Aid certification as needed in accordance with policy.
• Must be drug-free and submit to drug screening upon hire and routinely.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, mobility).
• Engage residents in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activity while providing personal care assistance.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and obtain assistance as necessary.
• Keep the environment safe and clean for residents.
• Observe and uphold resident rights at all times.
• Observe changes in condition and report promptly to a licensed nurse.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Do

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility.

• Responds to all resident needs and/or requests for care promptly, and provides or obtains assistance with care as necessary.

• Observe residents for changes in physical, emotional, mental, or behavioral condition, unusual symptoms, accidents, injuries, or unusual occurrences, and report promptly to a licensed nurse.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
