Shift differentials: $1.50 PM & $2.00 NOC

Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Nurse Supervisor, this role performs resident/patient care activities and related services to support the personal needs, safety, and comfort of residents/patients. The role also involves helping create a positive physical, social, and psychological environment while adhering to all policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Successful completion of an approved nursing assistant training and competency evaluation program
• Ability to relate positively and effectively with residents/patients, families, volunteers, and staff
• Interest in working with long-term care residents and the elderly, with a positive attitude
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Meet all health requirements mandated by law
