Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Nurse Supervisor, this role performs resident/patient care activities and related services to support the personal needs, safety, and comfort of residents/patients. The role also involves creating a positive physical, social, and psychological environment, following all policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Successful completion of an approved nursing assistant training and competency evaluation program
• Ability to relate positively and effectively with residents, families, volunteers, and staff
• Interest in working with long-term care residents and the elderly
• Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
• Meeting all health requirements as mandated by law
