Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Nurse Supervisor, this role performs resident/patient care activities and services necessary for their personal needs, safety, and comfort. It also involves fostering a positive physical, social, and psychological environment, following all policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Successful completion of approved nursing assistant training and competency evaluation program
• Ability to relate positively and effectively with residents, families, volunteers, and staff
• Interest and positive attitude towards working with long-term care residents and the elderly
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Meet all health requirements as mandated by law
