Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Nurse Supervisor, perform resident/patient care activities to meet personal needs, safety, and comfort. Assist in creating a positive physical, social, and psychological environment while adhering to policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Successful completion of approved nursing assistant training and competency evaluation
• Ability to relate positively and effectively with residents, families, volunteers, and staff
• Interest in working with long-term care residents and the elderly
• Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
• Meeting all health requirements as legally mandated
