Job summary

Tamarac Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Tamarac, FL is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our resident-focused care team. We’re looking for dedicated and compassionate CNAs to provide quality care and make a meaningful difference in residents’ lives.

Qualifications

• Current, valid Florida CNA license required.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Dependable, punctual, and compassionate.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and respond appropriately to resident needs.
• Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
• Assist with resident transfers, admissions, and discharges under the direction of nursing staff.
• Assist nurses with treatments and resident care as directed.
• Support restorative and rehabilitation programs with appropriate instruction and supervision.
• Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition to the nursing team.
• Protect resident privacy, dignity, and rights.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Work cooperatively with nurses, other CNAs, and members of the interdisciplinary care team.
• Follow facility policies, procedures, and infection control guidelines.
• Demonstrate dependability, punctuality, and professionalism.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

CNA Responsibilities
