Select Specialty Hospital - Daytona Beach is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for our post-ICU unit. This full-time day shift runs from 7am to 7pm and includes a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

You will deliver compassionate patient care, support rounds, and help move patients as needed. We offer a comprehensive orientation, 100% company-paid RN scholarship, tuition reimbursement, and a clinical ladder for career growth.

Competenze

• High school diploma/GED or 3+ years of related work experience.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Hospital experience as CNA or related field (certification preferred).

Mansioni

• Perform bathing and basic care using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, and hair care.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to treatment centers and assist with transfers.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment (bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs).
• Keep patients' rooms clean and orderly.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients' rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
