Park Place Health and Wellness Center in St. John, IN, part of the Providence Life Services family, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for a full-time day shift (7:00 AM–3:00 PM).

Responsibilities include assisting residents with dressing, bathing, toileting, walking and transfers, reminders for medications, bed-making, responding to call lights and documentation. Indiana CNA certification required; background checks and lifts test may be required.

Qualifikationen

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Indiana.
• Previous long-term care experience is a plus but not required.
• Must pass physical, drug screen, 50-pound lift test, fingerprinting and background/reference checks.

Summary of essential job functions

The primary role for this position will work closely with fellow staff members to provide assistance and care to our residents in accordance with their needs. Typical activities that you will assist our residents with include, but are not limited to, dressing, bathing, toileting, walking, and transferring. Additional job responsibilities include but are not limited to reminding of medications, making beds, responding to call lights, and documentation of your work.

Requirements

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Indiana.
• Previous experience in long-term care is a plus but not required.
• Pass a physical, drug screen, 50-pound lift test, fingerprint for criminal background and complete a reference check.
