Job summary

Magnolia Wellness Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the Evening Shift (3:00 PM–11:00 PM) in St. Louis, MO. This full-time role involves hands-on resident care under licensed staff in a skilled nursing setting.

You will assist with ADLs, transfers, vital signs, meals, and documentation, while following care plans and infection control procedures to support resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification is required.
• Missouri CNA certification preferred or required per facility rules.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Experience as CNA or in healthcare settings is a plus.
• New CNAs are encouraged to apply.
• Dependable attendance and reliability are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on resident care during the evening shift under supervision of licensed staff.
• Assist with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, personal hygiene).
• Assist transfers, repositioning, ambulation, and mobility.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs.
• Take and record vital signs and other measurements as directed.
• Observe residents for changes and report concerns to RN or LPN.

Magnolia Wellness Center is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for our Evening Shift, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM.

CNA Job Responsibilities

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Magnolia Wellness Center, you will provide hands-on resident care and support under the direction of licensed nursing staff.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents throughout the evening shift.

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.

• Assist residents with transfers, repositioning, ambulation, and mobility.

• Answer call lights promptly and respond to resident needs.

• Take and record vital signs, weights, and other measurements as directed.

• Observe residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the RN or LPN.

• Assist with meals, feeding, hydration, and nutritional needs.

• Provide comfort, companionship, and emotional support to residents.

• Follow individualized care plans and nursing instructions.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care.

• Assist with maintaining clean, safe, and comfortable resident rooms and common areas.

• Follow infection prevention, safety, and facility policies and procedures.

• Protect resident privacy, dignity, and independence.

• Work closely with RNs, LPNs, nurses, therapists, and other members of the healthcare team.

• Provide respectful, person-centered care to residents at all times.

CNA Qualifications

• Active CNA certification required.

• Missouri CNA certification preferred/required based on facility requirements.

• CPR/BLS certification preferred.

• Previous CNA, skilled nursing, long-term care, nursing home, rehabilitation, assisted living, or healthcare experience is a plus.

• New CNAs are encouraged to apply.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to follow directions and work effectively with nursing staff.
