Job summary

The Lodge at Mills River, operated by SanStone Health & Rehabilitation, is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant for day shift 7am-3pm. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is offered for full-time hires.

The position focuses on daily routine nursing care and contributing to rehabilitative care standards. Ideal candidates provide ADL assistance, monitor vital signs, maintain documentation, and uphold a warm, safe, and calm resident environment while pursuing ongoing training and growth

Qualifications

• Must have valid CNA certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily routine nursing care and services in accordance with the residents' assessment and care plan.
• Assisting with activity of daily living (ADLs): bathing, dressing and feeding.
• Monitor vital signs and report concerns to nurse.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable resident environment.
• Attend and participate in scheduled training and educational classes to maintain current certification.

Key Responsibilities of Certified Nursing Assistants:

• Providing daily routine nursing care and services in accordance with the residents’ assessment and care plan such as:
• Assisting with activity of daily living (ADLs): bathing, dressing and feeding
• Monitor vital signs and report concerns to nurse
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable resident environment
• Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the unit and shift
• Attend and participate in scheduled training and educational classes to maintain current certification, such as scheduled orientation programs and activities, facility in-service training programs, etc.
