A Moment's Notice Health Care is seeking compassionate, dependable home health aides to provide care in clients' homes in Indian River and surrounding counties. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid Florida driver’s license, CPR/BLS, and a valid CNA license.

CEUs in Alzheimer's, self-administration of medication, HIPAA, HIV/AIDS are encouraged. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, administering medications reminders, vital signs, documentation,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR/BLS Certification required.
• Valid CNA license preferred.
• Alzheimer's & Dementia CEU (2 hours) may be required.
• Assistance with self administration of medication CEU (min 2 hours)
• HIPAA CEU (1 hour)
• HIV/AIDS CEU (4 hours)
• Reliable transportation and auto insurance.
• Ability to work with clients who have pets.
• Strong English language skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide care per Care Plan agreed with Nursing Supervisor and Client/family.
• Document all care provided during shift.
• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, toileting, medication reminders, vital signs, light housekeeping.
• Monitor Alzheimer's & Dementia clients as applicable.
• Assist with mobility exercises and transfers.
• Follow policies and HIPAA rules, dress code, and schedule requirements.
• Cover all assigned shifts and arrange replacements when needed.

We arecurrently hiring compassionate, dependable, team-oriented individuals to provide care for our clients, playing a vital role in enhancing their quality of life and well-being while they remain in their home.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

• Valid FL Driver's License

• CPR/BLS Certification

• Valid CNA License

• Alzheimer's & Dementia CEU (2 hours)

• Assistance with Self Administration of Medication CEU (minimum 2 hours)

• HIPAA CEU (1 hour)

• HIV/AIDS CEU (4 hours)

• Complete all physical and mental demands for described position. Moderate lifting, standing, walking, moving throughout shift.

• Reliable transportation and current auto insurance

• Work with pets when necessary

• Knowledge of the English language

Responsibilities:

• Provide care in accordance with the Care Plan agreed upon by Nursing Supervisor and Client and/or Client’s family.

• Thoroughly document all care provided during shift.

• Assistance with activities of daily living including but not limited to bathing, toileting, medication reminders, vital signs and light housekeeping.

• Monitoring Alzheimer’s & Dementia Clients (when applicable)

• Assisting Clients with mobility exercises including transferring, positioning and lifting.

• Complies with policies and procedures including standards of conduct and work ethics, HIPAA policy, dress code and weekend / holiday availability policies.

• Responsible for working all assigned shifts-finding replacement for shift when needed.
