Job summary

Plymouth, MA facility part of Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Plymouth is seeking a part-time Nursing Support/Sitter to provide personal care and comfort under RN supervision. The role includes day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with every other weekend and holiday rotation.

Requirements include a MA CNA license, EMT license, or nursing program enrollment with clinical hours, plus BLS certification on hire. Prior CNA experience is preferred and a union contract governs pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• MA Certified Nurse Assistant license or EMT license or enrollment in nursing program with clinical hours required.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to keep pace in a busy acute care unit.
• BLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide and maintain personal care to ensure patient comfort.
• Work under supervision of registered nursing staff.
• Perform 'Sitter' duties as assigned and float to areas as needed.
