Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health in Massachusetts seeks a per diem Certified Nurse Assistant to provide personal care and comfort in a busy acute care setting. Responsibilities include acting under supervision of registered nurses and performing sitter duties, with occasional float assignments based on unit needs.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent (or active enrollment in a nursing program), MA CNA license or EMT, and current BLS certification. Flexible shifts offered.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in a busy acute care unit.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• May be floated to other areas as needed.

Job Description:

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• High School graduate or equivalency or enrolled in a co-op program with successful completion of HS diploma within 6months.
• Current MA Certified Nurse Assistant License, EMT License, or current enrollmentin a nursing program with sufficient hours of clinical rotation required.
• Excellent organizational skills and work pace consistent with working in a busy, acute care unit.
• Active American Heart Association BLScertificationREQUIRED upon hire.
• 1-2 years Cert. Nursing Assistant experience preferred.

As with all job assignments, staff may befloated to areas where they are needed.

Pay Range:

$18.81 - $33.00

This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. The pay range for this position is established and governed by the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Employees hired into this position will receive compensation consistent with the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
