Position: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Job Description

1. Provide quality care to guests in a nourishing environment.
2. Offer individualized attention to promote each guest's physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
3. Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
4. Attend to individual needs related to incontinent care, transferring, ambulation, range of motion, communication, and other needs.
5. Maintain skin integrity to prevent pressure ulcers and skin damage by changing incontinent guests, repositioning immobile guests, and applying moisturizers.
6. Perform tasks like checking vital signs, weighing guests, applying creams/ointments, and collecting specimens, as directed by the floor nurse.
7. Support care planning by providing observations and information about guest needs, preferences, and behavioral changes.
8. Assist the wound care nurse as needed.
9. Document care provided and other relevant information in medical records, maintaining confidentiality.

Requirements

• Customer service oriented.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with minimum 1 year experience.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional and caring interaction with residents, families, and staff.
