Position Summary:

The CNA provides direct care to residents in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards, focusing on their wellbeing, dignity, and independence. Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily activities, personal hygiene, and mobility.

Responsibilities:

1. Caring for residents' personal needs, safety, and comfort.
2. Assisting with activities of daily living, including hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
3. Supporting daily tasks such as phone use, laundry, transportation, and mail.
4. Performing light housekeeping and meal prep.
5. Providing medication reminders.
6. Monitoring and reporting changes in residents' conditions.
7. Conducting rounds to ensure safety and address hazards.
8. Assisting with dining, including escorting, serving, and cleanup.
9. Offering companionship and conversation.
10. Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. High School diploma or GED.
2. At least 18 years old.
3. Completion of a state-approved CNA certification course.
4. Ability to read, communicate, and treat residents with dignity and respect.
5. Effective communication skills.
6. Willingness to complete our new hire orientation.
