As a CNA at SWC, you will complete classroom orientation and on-the-floor training in the first 3 weeks.
We are hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) at the Objective and Advanced level. The classification/position level will be determined based on the qualifications listed below as well as facility needs.
Objective level: Providing care to individuals with intellectual disabilities (IID), personal hygiene care, observing and reporting behavioral, mental, and physical changes, assisting residents to stand, and promoting a positive living environment.
Advanced level: Providing short-term care and support to individuals with IDD engaging in challenging behaviors, implementing complex treatment plans to promote safety, skill development, and behavior reduction.
Starting pay ranges from $25.06 to $28.16/hour for Objective and $26.42 to $29.73/hour for Advanced, depending on seniority. Additional increases are based on years of service.
Preferred qualifications include experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities, working in multidisciplinary teams, and following care plans.
