Job summary

Visiting Angels in Jasper, Indiana, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our local team. The CNA will assist clients with bathing, dressing, toileting, transfers, and light housekeeping, while providing companionship and reliable transportation for errands and appointments.

This full-time/part-time role offers flexible schedules, paid training, mileage reimbursement, and weekly pay. A valid driver’s license, insurance, and background check are required; weekend availability is

Qualifications

• No prior CNA/HHA experience required; training provided.
• TB Skin Test paid by Visiting Angels.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
• Dependable vehicle for shifts and client transport.
• Must pass background check and be able to work at least one weekend per month.

Responsibilities

• Bathing and assisting with dressing and toileting.
• Transferring clients and mobility assistance.
• Light housekeeping (dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, laundry, dishes, changing bed linens).
• Provide basic companionship and transportation for errands.
• Assist with cooking and medication reminders.

• Anyone with a previous HHA or CNA experience is welcome, however no experience is necessary.

• Dependable vehicle for to and from shifts and transporting clients.
• Must be able to pass a background check and able to work at least one weekend a month.
