Job summary

Visiting Angels is a Jasper, Indiana homecare agency providing caregivers for Vincennes and surrounding areas. We are seeking compassionate Caregivers with flexible schedules and competitive pay to join our local team.

A weekend shift is mandatory once a month, with pay ranging from $14.50 to $17.00 per hour and opportunities for growth. Benefits include paid training, PTO, mileage reimbursement, health/dental/vision insurance, and a referral program.

Qualifications

• HHA/CNA experience welcome but not required
• TB skin test paid by Visiting Angels
• Valid driver's license
• Active automobile insurance
• Dependable vehicle for shifts and transporting clients
• Background check required
• Must be able to work at least one weekend a month

Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Bathing
• Dressing
• Toileting
• Transferring Assistance
• Light Housekeeping (dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, laundry, dishes, change bed linens)
• Basic Companionship

Caregiver Requirements:

• Anyone with a previous HHA or CNA experience is welcome, however no experience is necessary.
• TB Skin Test (Paid for by Visiting Angels)

• Dependable vehicle for to and from shifts and transporting clients.
• Must be able to pass a background check and able to work at least one weekend a month.
