Job summary

Visiting Angels in Jasper, IN seeks a caring Caregiver to join our local team. You will assist clients with bathing, dressing, toileting, transfers, light housekeeping, companionship, errands, cooking, and medication reminders with flexible schedules and weekly pay.

No experience is required, and a TB test is provided. A valid driver's license, active automobile insurance, and dependable vehicle for shifts are necessary. Weekend availability is required at least one weekend per month.

Qualifications

• No prior home care experience required.
• Background check clearance is required.
• Valid driver's license and active automobile insurance are required.
• Must be able to pass TB skin test (paid by Visiting Angels).

Responsibilities

• Bathing and dressing clients.
• Assisting with toileting and transfers.
• Light housekeeping (dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, laundry, dishes, changing bed linens).
• Provide basic companionship and transportation for errands.
• Assist with cooking and medication reminders.
• Must be able to work at least one weekend per month.

Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Bathing
• Dressing
• Toileting
• Transferring Assistance
• Light Housekeeping (dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, laundry, dishes, change bed linens)
• Basic Companionship
• Transportation for Errands
• Cooking
• Medication Reminders

Caregiver Requirements:

• Anyone with a previous HHA or CNA experience is welcome, however no experience is necessary.
• TB Skin Test (Paid for by Visiting Angels)
• Valid Driver's License
• Active, Current Automobile Insurance
• Dependable vehicle for to and from shifts and transporting clients.
• Must be able to pass a background check and able to work at least one weekend a month.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.50-$17.00 per hour
