Training Program Details

Join our next paid Nurse Aide Training class at Passavant Community in Zelienople, PA. This five-week program includes paid clinical and classroom training, Monday-Thursday (6:45 a.m. - 3:15 p.m.), with Fridays at your home site (hours may vary). Upon completion, you may transition to a full-time or part-time CNA position. Attendance is mandatory.

The program serves county residents in Armstrong, Butler, Beaver, and Lawrence Counties, helping individuals maintain independence at home through supportive services.

Responsibilities

Assist professional nursing staff in routine direct and indirect resident/patient care activities, maintain resident rights, privacy, and confidentiality, and promote acceptance of treatment goals. Work in this capacity until passing the state competency exam.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of PA State Nurse Aide Training Program or equivalent
• Must pass the NA competency test within 120 days of hire
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and touchscreen documentation
• Ability to commit to full-time training and scheduled hours
