Summary of the position

Under the supervision of the Nurse Supervisor, this position performs resident/patient care activities and related services necessary in caring for residents/patients' personal needs, safety, and comfort. Assisting in creating a positive physical, social, and psychological environment while following all policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Successful completion of approved nursing assistant training and competency evaluation program
• Ability to relate positively and effectively with residents/patients, families, volunteers, and staff
• Interest in and positive attitude towards working with long-term care residents and the elderly
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Meet all health requirements as required by law
