Key Responsibilities of a CNA
As a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant CNA, you are the heart of our resident-centered care model. Working under the direct supervision of licensed nurses, you will build meaningful relationships with residents while delivering direct daily care:
Comprehensive Direct Resident Care & ADL Support:
Assist residents with essential Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing (bed baths, showers, whirlpools), oral hygiene, hair care, nail care, dressing, and personal grooming.
Serve nutritional meals and assist residents with feeding, hydration schedules, and tracking dietary intake.
Safely transfer, ambulate, turn, and reposition residents using proper body mechanics and mechanical lifts (Gait belts, Hoyer lifts) to ensure comfort and skin integrity.
Vital Signs Monitoring & Health Observation:
Accurately measure, record, and report vital signs (temperature, pulse, respirations, blood pressure, oxygen saturation) and body weights according to resident care plans.
Observe residents closely for subtle physical, cognitive, or behavioral changes—such as skin breakdown, changes in mobility, pain cues, or appetite loss—and report observations immediately to the Charge Nurse.
Infection Control & Environment Maintenance:
Maintain clean, orderly, and comfortable living environments for all residents, ensuring personal items are safe and call lights are within easy reach.
Adhere strictly to hand hygiene protocols, standard precautions, PPE guidelines, and infection control standards across all resident interactions.
Accurate Documentation & Care Reporting:
Promptly log daily care activities, fluid intake, meal percentages, bowel movements, and mobility metrics in the PointClickCare Electronic Health Record (EHR) kiosk.
Ensure all entries are completed before shift end to guarantee smooth handoffs and continuity of care.
Interdisciplinary Team Collaboration & Safety Protocols:
Collaborate effectively with the nursing, therapy, and leadership teams as a proactive member of our Certified Nursing Assistant CNA team, attending shift huddles and executing assigned unit duties.
Assist with resident admissions, transfers, and discharges, strictly following state, federal, and facility safety regulations.
We offer a competitive compensation and perks package designed to support your personal, physical, and financial well-being:
Competitive Compensation: Market-leading base pay with generous shift differentials for weekend and off-shift hours.
Daily Financial Control: Access your earned pay daily through our instant payout options.
Comprehensive Protection: Health, Dental, and Vision coverage tiers available for eligible staff, alongside supplemental life and disability insurance.

Licensure/Certification: Must possess an active and valid Wisconsin Certified Nursing Assistant CNA certification in good standing with the state registry.
Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
Compliance & Screening: Must successfully pass standard healthcare worker background checks, drug screenings, and state-mandated health screenings.
Core Competencies: Strong interpersonal skills, physical stamina to lift and assist residents safely, excellent attention to detail, and a compassionate attitude toward elderly and rehabilitative populations.
Experience: Previous experience in a long-term care, skilled nursing, or sub-acute facility is preferred, but we warmly welcome motivated, qualified new Certified Nursing Assistant CNA applicants!
