What You'll Do
- Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, and personal hygiene.
- Measure, record, and report vital signs and health observations promptly to supervising nursing staff.
- Support resident mobility, safe transfers, positioning, and ambulation following individualized care plans.
- Assist with mealtime setup, dining support, and monitoring hydration/nutritional intake.
- Maintain clean, safe, and therapeutic resident living areas and care environments.
- Complete accurate, timely daily care logs and documentation in accordance with facility standards.
- Provide emotional and social support while promoting resident dignity, independence, and confidentiality.
- Follow all safety, emergency, and infection control procedures to ensure a safe environment for all residents and staff.
Requirements
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Florida.
- Minimum 1 year (12 months) of experience in senior care, rehabilitation, long-term care, or hospital settings.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs regularly and assist residents with physical mobility needs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Dependable, empathetic, and capable of working effectively within a clinical care team.
