NurseDash is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) for flexible, contract freelance shifts in Brooksville, FL. You pick shifts that fit your schedule, with no minimums and same-day pay options.

As a CNA, you will assist residents with daily living activities, follow schedules, provide emotional support, and help with dining and daily tasks. Licensure and ability to lift 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and training
• CNA or CHHA licensure required
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and assist residents physically
• Read, write, speak and understand English

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with medications reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing and activities of daily living
• Follow residents' needs schedule set by supervisor
• Provide emotional and social support to residents
• Assist dining staff and dining room as needed
• Possibly assist with laundry for community or residents
• Document daily log of assistance and inform supervisor of issues
• Maintain resident independence, dignity and confidentiality
• Remain familiar with emergency equipment and procedures
• Attend required trainings and staff meetings
• Ensure safe working environment and professional demeanor
• Adhere to community policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

CNA Responsibilities and Duties

Provide assistance as needed with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living

Follow the schedule of residents' needs set out by supervisor

Provide emotional and social support to residents

Support the dining staff and possibly assist in the dining room

Possibly assist with laundry needs of the Community or residents

Document daily log of assistance

Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns

Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of the residents

Respect residents' confidentiality

Remain familiar with emergency equipment and procedures

Attend all required training, in-service, and staff meetings

Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices

Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers

Adhere to all policies and procedures of the community

Perform other duties as assigned

CNA Qualifications/Skills/Educational Requirements

A High School Diploma or General Education Degree; or one to three months of related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Require a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or CHHA licensure

Ability to lift at least 50 lbs regularly and physically able to help residents who require physical assistance

Read, write, speak and understand the English language

May require experience with caring for residents with memory impairment if assigned to memory care areas of the Community
