Job summary

Springfield Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a State Registered Nurse Assistant (SRNA) / Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) for full-time or part-time roles in Springfield, KY. The facility offers new increased wages, same day pay, and incentives, with shifts on 1st and 3rd.

Resident care focuses on dignity, comfort, and quality of life, supported by a caring team. Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily living activities, responding to calls, and maintaining care plans.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate with residents and nursing staff.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Prior LTC nursing assistant experience preferred; or equivalent education/experience.
• Successful completion of State Approved Nursing Assistant Training and Competency Evaluation Program.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Answer signal lights and check residents who cannot call for help.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Explain procedures to residents and ensure safety.

Responsibilities:

• Answers signal lights, bells, or intercom system to determine residents' needs and ensures call lights are within reach of resident.

• Ensures that residents' who are unable to call for help are checked frequently.

• Gives direct resident care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming of residents.

• Explains procedures to residents.

• Assists residents as necessary in their activities of daily living.

• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Educations:

Ability to communicate with residents and nursing staff.

Ability to speak, read, and write English.

Prior experience as LTC nursing assistant preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Successful completion of State Approved Nursing Assistant Training and Competency Evaluation Program.

Good standing in the state registry is required.
