Job summary

Heritage Hills Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Rhode Island is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a full-time position. You will provide compassionate, hands-on care under licensed nursing staff, support residents with daily living activities, and help maintain a safe, comfortable environment.

Shifts are 3-11 and 11-7 with daily pay. Must hold RI CNA license and BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, active Rhode Island CNA license.
• Valid BLS/CPR certification required.
• Ability to work with multiple residents in a fast-paced setting.
• Demonstrated compassion, patience, and commitment to resident care.
• Strong communication and follow-directions skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic resident care under supervision of licensed staff.
• Assist with activities of daily living (feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Support residents' physical and emotional needs and safety.
• Observe and report changes to nursing staff promptly.
• Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable resident environments.
• Support care team to deliver high-quality, resident-centered care.

Responsibilities for CNAs:

• Provide basic resident care under the direction and supervision of licensed nursing staff in a safe, compassionate, and respectful manner.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility assistance, and changing linens.
• Provide supportive care and services to ensure residents’ physical, emotional, and daily living needs are consistently met.
• Observe residents and report changes in condition, behavior, or needs to nursing staff in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment that promotes dignity and well‑being for all residents.
• Support nursing staff and the care team in delivering high-quality, resident‑centered care.

Qualifications for CNAs:

• Must hold a current, active, and unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in Rhode Island.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple residents in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment.
• Demonstrated compassion, patience, and commitment to providing high-quality resident care.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions accurately and consistently.
