Job summary

The Good Shepherd Community is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate care in our skilled nursing setting. You will assist residents with daily living activities, escort to meals and events, and ensure accurate documentation while reporting changes to the nurse.

Qualifications

• Must be Active on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Must be able to read, write, and follow direction.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care and assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Escort residents to and from meals, activities, and events.
• Accurately complete daily charting and documentation.
• Monitor and promptly report any changes in resident condition to the nurse.
• Support resident mobility using appropriate equipment and follow individualized care plans.
• Adhere to all established infection control and safety policies and procedures.
