Job summary

The Hawthorne Center for Rehabilitation and Healing of Sarasota is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants for a Part-Time Day Shift (6 AM – 2 PM) at our 120-bed Sarasota facility. Join a resident-focused team committed to compassionate care in a welcoming environment on Desoto Rd.

We offer on-site interviews Tuesdays 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM, competitive pay, flexible scheduling, health insurance, PTO, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in Florida.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to work harmoniously with other personnel and residents.
• Availability for part-time day shifts (6 AM–2 PM).

Responsibilities

• Care for multiple residents in the facility and observe resident rights.
• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Assist nurse with admitting, transferring, and discharging residents.
• Assist with treatments and rehabilitation under supervision.
• Maintain dependable and punctual attendance.

Certified Nursing Assistant ( CNA ) Main Duties and Critical Tasks:

• Care for multiple residents in the facility. Observe Resident Rights.
• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Assist nurse with admitting, transferring, and discharging residents.
• Assist nurse in giving treatments and examining residents.Assist with restorative and rehab care with proper instruction and supervision.
• Come to work as scheduled and consistently demonstrate dependability and punctuality.
• Certified Nursing Assistant ( CNA ) Required Education and Experience:
• Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant ( CNA ) license in the state of practice and employment.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Ability to work harmoniously with other personnel.
