Royalton Manor is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to care for residents under the supervision of licensed nurses. You will assist with ADLs, monitor vitals, and maintain a safe, compassionate environment in a Michigan facility.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the certification board or a graduate of a state approved nursing assistant training program and passed a state approved competency exam within 120 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, incontinent care as applicable, oral hygiene and feeding.
• Measure and record vital signs, weight, and meal intake as directed.
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning using proper body mechanics and lift equipment.
• Respond to call lights and changes in condition; report observations to licensed nursing staff.
• Support residents’ independence and dignity, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility procedures.
• Follow infection control, safety, and universal precautions at all times.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive living environment.
• Maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment.
• Provide postmortem care.

The Certified Nursing Assistant cares for residents under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse or a licensed practical/vocational nurse.
