Job summary

Elite Care Management is seeking compassionate CNAs to join our private duty care team in Riverwoods, IL. You will work with one patient for the full shift, assisting with daily living activities and comfort to improve quality of life.

Responsibilities include monitoring health, helping with ADLs, light housekeeping, and building meaningful relationships with patients and families. Valid CNA certification, CPR, and required documents are expected, with a flexible schedule and benefits.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required and CPR trained.
• Experience providing patient care in a home or private duty setting is preferred.
• Ability to lift and assist with mobility as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient care records and report observations to supervisor.
• Support mobility with lifting and transferring as needed.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Light housekeeping duties: change bed linens, laundry, cleaning, and preparing meals.
• Build relationships with patients through conversation and activities to support mental health.
• Monitor pulse, temperature, and respiration.

Pay Range:

• $20 - $22 / hour

You will work with ONE PATIENT for your complete shift, getting to know the patient, their needs, and their family life. As a skilled nurse, you will assist patients with daily living activities, ensure their comfort, and support their overall well-being to enhance their quality of life.

• Support mobility by assisting patients with lifting and transferring as needed.
• Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Light house-keeping duties, such as changing bed linens, laundry, cleaning, or preparing meals.
• Enhancing quality of life and building relationships with patients through conversation, doing activities together, and finding stimulation to keep them mentally healthy and alert.
