Job summary

Life Care Centers of America seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our compassionate care team in Michigan. The CNA will deliver routine daily nursing care to residents, including bathing, feeding, grooming, and toileting, while upholding Life Care standards and promoting patient comfort.

Qualified candidates are state-certified CNAs with a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR certification, and Michigan licensure in good standing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of a State-approved CNA program.
• Active CNA license in Michigan; CPR certification required or obtained on orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients (bathing, feeding, grooming, toileting).
• Deliver direct patient care in accordance with Life Care standards.
• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.

As an important member of our interdisciplinary team, the CNA is responsible for providing routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. Your daily responsibilities will be to deliver direct care to patients (bathing, feeding, grooming, toileting, etc.) as directed. Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of a State-approved CNA program
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
• One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
