Job summary

Allpro Homecare is seeking an Experienced CNA in Rhode Island to join our team and support veterans with non-medical homecare services. The role offers flexible scheduling, weekly pay, and online training, with duties including personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, and emergency reporting.

Ideal candidates hold a current Rhode Island CNA license, are 18+, and can pass a state background check; a valid driver's license and Hoyer Lift experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current state license in good standing as a CNA.
• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to pass Rhode Island background check.
• State-required Flu Shot (annually thereafter).
• State-required Hepatitis B Shot.
• State-required Immunization Record (Flu, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, COVID).
• State-required Birth Certification upload.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable daily transportation.
• Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to client).
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
• Adequate physical endurance.

Responsibilities

• Assists client with bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Assists client with toileting, including use of bedpan, or toilet.
• Assists client with transfers and ambulation including use of cane, walker, and wheelchair.
• Performs housekeeping duties.
• Plan, prepare and serve meals, with assistance from the clients (when they are able).
• Report any unusual events or occurrences to the administrator.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
• Completes all other duties within the Client Service Plan.
