Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a Per Diem position in Post Falls, ID. The CNA will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practitioner and perform diverse patient care activities to support comfort and well-being.

Pay is $28 per hour with a 12.00 hour shift. Minimum requirements include CNA certification and knowledge of medical terminology, with potential CPR and health screening as needed.

• Clerical functions knowledge helpful.
• Current CPR certification, if applicable.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs directpatient care under the direct supervision of a RN or LPN/LVN or other licensedmedical professional.

The CNA/NA performs a variety of individualized patient careactivities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for thepersonal needs and comforts of patients.

Minimum Requirements:

• One year experience as a nursing assistant preferred

• Certification as a Nursing Assistant per client/staterequirements

• Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of clericalfunctions

• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
