Job summary

Amergis, located in St. Charles, MO, seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a contract, full-time role to provide direct patient care under supervision. You will support patients with personal needs and comforts in a healthcare facility.

The position requires at least 1 year of CNA experience, CN A certification, and knowledge of medical terminology. CPR may be required; you must meet health standards and state/federal requirements. Pay is $19/hour for a 36-hour workweek.

Qualifications

• One year experience as nursing assistant preferred.
• Certification as Nursing Assistant per client/state requirements.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of clerical functions.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs direct patient care under the direct supervision of a RN or LPN/LVN or other licensed medical professional.

The CNA/NA performs a variety of individualized patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comforts of patients.

Minimum Requirements:

• One year experience as a nursing assistant preferred
