Responsibilities

1. Assist licensed nursing personnel in providing nursing care.
2. Participate as a member of the healthcare team under the supervision of a licensed nurse, following standards and authorized duties for CNAs.
3. Assist with clerical functions, housekeeping, and patient transportation throughout the hospital.
4. Provide patient care delegated and supervised by a registered nurse, considering patient needs, condition, development, and age.
5. Implement and adapt interdisciplinary care plans, encouraging patient independence and self-care.
6. Identify and respond to abnormal signs and symptoms, including emergencies.
7. Maintain a safe, clean, and infection-controlled environment for patients.
8. Complete documentation accurately and timely.
