Job summary

CareBuilders at Home in the Plano/Allen area is hiring CNAs and Home Health Aides to provide compassionate in-home care to clients. Starting pay ranges from $17 to $19 per hour, based on experience and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of healthcare experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Follow client care plan as assigned.
• Deliver personal care services in home settings.
• Assist with mobility and transfers as needed.
• Monitor vitals (temperature, BP, pulse).
• Assist with light housekeeping and meal prep.
• Administer medications as prescribed and remind as needed.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in activities.
• Report changes to healthcare team or family.
• Maintain accurate care records and confidentiality per HIPAA.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification.
• At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Current CPR as required by client facility; other health and screening tests as required by specific facilities and/or regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities

• Follows the client's plan of care as assigned.
• Delivers personal care services to clients as assigned.
• Help with mobility and transferring clients safely from bed to chair, etc.
• Monitor client vitals, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
• Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Administer medications as prescribed and assist with medication reminders.
• Provide companionship and engage in recreational activities with clients.
• Report any changes in the client’s condition to the healthcare team or family.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided.
• Complies with CareBuilders at Home policies/procedures.
• Maintains confidentiality in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
• Communicates information effectively to appropriate personnel.
