The position of Certified Nursing Assistant exists to provide routine nursing and personal care for residents to ensure the highest quality of resident care at all times. This role involves working effectively with team members, delivering quality care, supporting colleagues, and managing available resources.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

1. Participate in and receive resident reports at start/end of shift.
2. Provide personal/nursing care in accordance with resident care plan.
3. Facilitate and conduct activities.
4. Monitor & respond to resident requests and needs in a respectful manner.
5. Maintain a clean and pleasant environment for residents.
6. Assist in preparing residents for activities.
7. Ensure all resident care is provided respectfully.
8. Perform basic nursing care procedures as required.
9. Create a safe, comfortable environment and meet residents' needs.
10. Ensure timely and compassionate food service for residents.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Graduate of an approved Nurse Aide Training Program or eligible to enter and complete such a program within 120 days of employment.
