Job summary

Homestead of Ottawa is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our weekend overnight team in Ottawa, Kansas. The shift runs Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., offering a stable schedule and the opportunity to provide attentive resident care.

As a CNA, you will assist with daily living activities, monitor resident well-being, document care, and collaborate with the care team to maintain a safe, respectful environment for our residents.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing with the State of Kansas
• Dependable and committed to working the scheduled Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m. shifts
• Compassionate and respectful approach to caring for older adults
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living and personal care
• Responding promptly and compassionately to resident needs
• Supporting residents with mobility, transfers and other care needs
• Observing and reporting changes in resident condition
• Accurately documenting care provided
• Helping maintain a safe, comfortable and respectful environment
• Working collaboratively with other members of the care team
• Providing compassionate, respectful and person-centered care

weekend overnight shift.

What You’ll Do

As a CNA, you'll play an important role in supporting the safety, comfort and well-being of our residents throughout the overnight shift. Responsibilities include:
